Selena Gomez Produces Netflix Series ‘Living Undocumented’

Selena Gomez produces an emotional rollercoaster of a documentary of real people with real problems.

The series has been created in hopes of shedding light on what it is like to live in a country as an undocumented immigrant. Throughout the series, courageous people choose to tell their story to the world. We have heard of the issues happening, but Gomez wanted to take a new approach and show people what is really happening. Let the world hear it from the ones living out this issue daily.

The series follows eight families on their journey through their struggles and hardships. The families speak on the issue and what is left out behind the scenes as they are facing possible deportation. Gomez shows her many amazing talents and caring heart through the creation of this heartfelt series.

“I chose to produce this series, ‘Living Undocumented,’ because over the past few years, the word immigrant has seemingly become a negative word,” Gomez said. Watch the eye-opening trailer below.

The trailer gives us a glimpse of what it is like to not feel comfortable in a place that is supposed to be called home. Check out the work of Gomez and the series featured on Netflix on Oct. 2.
