Mattel Has Released a Gender Inclusive Doll Line

Mattel

The company is making their dolls more representative of the kids that want to play with them.

Mattel, the company responsible for the iconic Barbie doll, has introduced more gender-inclusive dolls to their line.  The Creatable Worlds Line will feature dolls that have less gender-specific features.

The dolls feature a makeup-free face, and no gender denoting body parts. Their hair is short, but each doll comes with a wig of long locks. These dolls are a nod towards the nonbinary and trans communities in society and will allow kids to play with dolls that don’t limit their expression.

They will allow parents to inform their kids about the ways a person can express their gender, and help normalize different gender expressions from a young age. Keep up the good work Mattel.
