Samuel L. Jackson Is the New Voice of Alexa
Soon Alexa’s going to be a bit different.
Alexa, the personal voice assistant from Amazon, has developed a new function. Now it will be able to imitate well-known celebrities, such as Samuel L. Jackson. In order to activate the feature you’ll have to say “Alexa, introduce me to Samuel L. Jackson,” and the imitation will begin. In a video posted by CNET, the new feature is explained in more detail.
The voice will be able to use the iconic profanities Jackson does in his movies, or not if you don’t want it to. You can ask Jackson the weather, about his interests, to tell a joke and more. However, he won’t be able to answer all questions about shopping, lists, reminders or groceries. Amazon posted new information about Alexa’s new features on their blog.
