Congratulations to Post Malone on Going Diamond
Congratulations are in order for rapper, Post Malone, on receiving his first diamond plaque.
October 8th, 2019 the RIAA (Record Industry Association of America) confirmed the rapper’s single “Congratulations” featuring Quavo, of the Migos, has been certified Diamond. The single comes from Malone’s debut studio album Stoney which was released in 2017. Moving 10 units since the release, the track peaked at Number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In the track, both artists speak on their rise in the hip hop world and how fans reacted to them. Malone stating “Congratulations, worked so hard forgot how to vacation,” while Quavo states “Now everywhere I go they say congratulations, young __ graduated.” Post Malone is now among other artists, such as Drake, Tupac, Outcast and T.I., who have gone diamond in their career. This news comes right after Malone is congratulated for his second week at number one on the Billboard 200 charts.
