Florence Given is a London based artist and writer who wants more people saying “Dump Him”.
With just over 265k followers on Instagram, Florence Given has made a name for herself through her art and writing. She has designed her work for women to feel empowered by their sexuality and speak out against misogynistic language. Her slogan, “Dump Him”, is based on a revelation she made after breaking up with her own boyfriend at the time. Florence claims that she realized she was putting more into the relationship than she was getting back. She found it to be unhealthy and decided to focus on herself instead of giving out her energy when it wasn’t being given back.
Named Cosmopolitan’s Influencer of the Year for 2019, the artist and designer sells merchandise on her website and posts new content regularly on Instagram.

Recently, the icon announced that on June 11, 2020, she will be releasing her book Women Don’t Owe You Pretty. On her website Florence has said that this book contains lessons she wished she had known in the past. Florence hopes to change the narrative of women who have been bombarded with disruption their whole lives, to show them that they do not owe the world anything.
