Keep an Eye out for Issa Rae as She Creates New Record Label

Issa Rae just announced she has created a new record label and we’re here for it.

Actress, director, writer, producer, and web series creator, Issa Rae took to her Instagram on October 18th, to announce that she has launched a new label known as RAEDIO. Along with mentioning her new label, Issa also presented her new artist who she has recently signed.

Issa has worked on many projects within the entertainment industry. She first began with her YouTube web series, Awkward Black Girl. She then rose to fame with her HBO television series, Insecure, in which she co-wrote, created, and starred in the show.

From her work with Insecure, Issa has received two Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy, and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Issa has even joined forces with Google in becoming an additional voice to the Google Assistant.
