Former One Direction member, Styles and his ex-bandmates have been musical guests on Saturday Night Live twice before. In 2017, Styles performed alone, as Jimmy Fallon hosted. However, this time Styles will be making his solo debut.

The star has been in the limelight after recent success with his new song, “Lights Up”, which he released earlier this month. The song was said to have “kicked off his solo career”, according to an article written by Hugh McIntyre of Forbes Magazine.
