Simone Biles Throws First Pitch at Game 2 of the World Series
Simone Biles threw the first pitch at Game 2 of the World Series for the Houston Astros, a few weeks after she became the most decorated gymnast in world championship history.
After earning America’s heart, Simone Biles was asked to throw the ceremonial first pitch for Game 2 of the Baseball World Series on October 23rd. The Houston Astros were up against the Washington Nationals and Biles started off the game with her pitch and flip on the field.
The MLB posted a video of the iconic and action packed moment for the world to see.
The athlete’s flip was no surprise due to her history of setting American records in Women’s Gymnastics but was exactly what Houston fans needed to get rowdy before the start of the game. This was not Simone Biles’ first time throwing the first pitch for an Astros game. In 2016, she strutted her stuff on the field also doing a trick to show off her own athletic skills.

In one, her family accompanies her for support and to witness the awesome tradition.
Is there anything this Olympic athlete can’t do?
