Lady Gaga to Star in Film Depicting the Gucci Fashion Family Dynasty

Monty Brinton/CBS

Lady Gaga isn’t done with the big screen yet; the star has officially signed to be in the Ridley-Scott directed film about the murder of Maurizio Gucci.

Lady Gaga will play the role of Patrizia Reggiani, Maurizio’s ex-wife and the one accused of orchestrating Gucci’s death in 1995.  The role will be Gaga’s first character since her break in A Star Is Born with co-star Bradley Cooper. Her performance in A Star Is Born won her a Best Actress nomination at the Academy Awards and an Oscar for the hit song “Shallow” from the film.  The film will be written and based on Sara Gay Forden’s book, The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. Currently, there is no date set for a release yet, but it seems to be moving fast in the works.

Watch the video below for more details on Gaga’s role and the soon-to-be-film.

“Little Monsters” are already raving on Twitter about the role she is soon to take on.

We can’t wait to see this queen on the big screen again soon.
