Catch the Wild Trailer for Sony Pictures’ ‘Bad Boys for Life’

The new trailer for the Sony Pictures’ film shows Will Smith’s character still riding or dying even as Martin Lawrence’s character is ready to kick up a recliner chair and retire.

Bad Boys for Life is the sequel to the Bad Boys franchise from the late ’90s and early 2000s that reunites Smith and Lawrence. Will Smith’s character Mike Lowrey can hunt criminals until the end of time but without a partner, he is forced to play nice with a group of hotshot youngsters called “Ammo” as led by Vanessa Hudgens and Charles Melton.

The upcoming American action comedy film is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Will Smith. The sequel is the third and final installment in the Bad Boys franchise. Filming began on Jan. 14, 2019 in downtown Atlanta, Georgia and wrapped on June 7, 2019 in Miami Beach, Florida. Bad Boys for Life is scheduled to be released on Jan. 17, 2020.

Alongside Smith and Lawrence is Joe Pantoliano who will reprise his role as Captain Howard. Also joining them are newcomers High School Musical‘s Vanessa Hudgens, Vikings star Alexander Ludwig, and Riverdale‘s Charles Melton. The movie also stars DJ Khaled and Kate Del Castillo in undisclosed roles.
