Matthew McConaughey has officially joined Instagram, and it’s the gift we all needed.
The Magic Mike star turned 50 years-old on Monday and blessed us with an exclusive video announcing that he has decided to become an “Instagrammer.” You can find him @OfficiallyMcConaughey on Instagram and see his first gift to us. His first post, in true McConnaughey fashion, was a close-up video of him explaining why he decided to join Instagram and how the star is looking forward to sharing who he is with the world. “I’m looking forward to seeing if what I want to share translates,” he states as he rocks a backward cap and jean jacket in his video.

The growth of his page jumped after being up for less than a day.
