Kesha’s New Album Brings Her Back to Herself + Find Out About Her New Makeup Line

Kesha says her new album High Road is a return to the outgoing and happy person she really is; the pop-artist is sharing this self-expression with the announcement of Kesha Rose Beauty.

The hit singer went through a purge of emotions with her last album, Rainbow released in 2017, which followed her lengthy legal battle to get out of her recording contract with producer Dr. Luke. More recently, she has returned to the upbeat tracks she started her career with. Signaling personal evolution, she changed her name from the stylized Ke$ha to the more authentic Kesha, which reflected her journey to reclaim her voice. Her goal is to create music that is distinctively hers which we will with the release of High Road. See the symbolic cover of the new album below.

Her new single; titled “Raising Hell,” and the first released from High Road, blends a newer sound with a hint of her past to create a unique electro-pop anthem. Kesha recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform “Raising Hell” with the help of Big Freedia. Kesha’s upcoming album, which is due January 10th, will include collaborations with Sturgill Simpson, Brian Wilson, Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons and Nate Ruess of Fun., as well as many others.

The upcoming music has now inspired a new project on her horizon. Kesha took a huge announcement to Instagram revealing the launch of her own line of makeup products.

This new era for Kesha includes the launch of her very own beauty line called Kesha Rose Beauty and the products on the line are to be inspired by her colorful and vibrant signature look. Kesha Rose Beauty will feature bright, insane rainbow and earth and nature-inspired colors.

She spoke in an interview with Refinery29 that the focus of this line of products is not beauty but self expression and allowing each individual to define their own meaning of beauty.
