Pop’s latest icon, Shaylen, has released her new single and is ready to take over the music industry.
Shaylen dropped jaws with the release of her new track, “Sprite.” The song integrates numerous musical influences while giving fans the perfect, relatable, and sassy sing-along. When opening up about her inspiration for the song, Shaylen confided that it’s “…about a co-dependent relationship with someone while fighting my own inner demons.” She continued to say, “Being honest with myself and the other person is hard enough…but letting go of the toxic patterns and habits is really the hardest part.” These wise words give us insight behind the lyrics of the song but also to the details of her personal life.
Classically trained in piano, this superstar has come full circle and quickly capturing the attention of the Pop/Hip-Hop world. Shaylen recently released her EP titled Highs and Lows and has already received raving reviews from Hollywood Life and Just Jared. Everyone is saying that Shaylen will be one to look out for in 2020.
