Tory Lanez Pays Homage to T-Pain’s ‘Im Sprung’ with New ‘Jerry Sprunger’ Track

Interscope Records

Tory Lanez is back with another 2000’s inspired classic.

Tory Lanez took to his Instagram to announce to fans the first single off of his upcoming album, Chixtape 5.

The song, “Jerry Sprunger,” is a sample from the early 2000’s banger “I’m Sprung” by T-Pain, so it was only right for the eclectic vocalist to be apart of Tory’s song. Tory not only released the single but he also released a video to go along with the bop.

Lanez is infamous for sampling early 2000’s hits and doing them justice. If you can recall, Lanez has sampled “No Letting Go” by Wayne Wonder, “I Need a Girl” by Diddy ft. Ginuwine, Loon, and Mario Winans, and even caught us all off guard when he sampled The Proud Family theme song by Destiny’s Child and Solange.
