You Need to See the First Look at New ‘Selena’ Netflix Series
The beloved queen of Tejano music, Selena, is coming to Netflix.
Just recently, the streaming service, Netflix, released the first trailer for the upcoming Selena: The Series, which will star Christian Serratos as the late Selena Quintanilla, one of the most celebrated Mexican-American singers of her time.

The series, which launches in 2020, is a coming-of-age story that follows a young Selena as her dreams of becoming a singer unfold.

The Quintanilla family will executively produce the series, while the some cast members will include Christian Serratos, from the hit AMC television show The Walking Dead. Her father will be played by Ricardo Antonio from Desperate Housewives and Gabriel Chavarria, from USA’s TV series The Purge as her brother. Other cast members will include Noemi Gonzalez as Selena’s sister and Seidy Lopez as Marcella Quintanilla, Selena’s mother. In addition, Madison Taylor Baez will play younger Selena.
The new drama series features Selena as she navigates success, family, music, and stardom. The first part of the series biopic will feature six hour-long episodes and will be available exclusively to stream on Netflix. Selena is an inspirational figure who’s transcended generations, we can not wait to see how her presence can elevate.
