Will Ferrell Announced to Host ‘Saturday Night Live’ for the Fifth Time
Will Ferrell is making his fifth appearance as a host of NBC’s Saturday Night Live and will officially be inducted into the Five-Timers Club.
Will Ferrell began his career as a cast member of SNL during the mid-’90s, and appeared on the show until 2002 after making a massive comedic impact on the comedy sketch show. On SNL, Ferrell’s notable comedy sketches include his President W. Bush and Dr. Phip impressions, More Cowbell sketch, and his energetic Spartan Cheerleader performance with Cheri Oteri.
The former SNL cast member is making his return back to the show as a host becoming inducted into the Five-Timers Club. The club represents celebrities who hosted at least five times and includes celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Drew Barrymore, Tom Hanks, and Melissa McCarthy.
Ferrell will make his five-time hosting debut on November 23rd, with special musical guest King Princess. On Twitter, Princess tweeted about the news.
