Netflix gets viewers ready for the holiday spirit with the release of their new original Holiday Rush trailer all about family, love, and a holiday miracle.
Netflix’s Holiday Rush is bringing the holiday season to family homes through a diversely talented cast, and an overall positive message about family and not giving up when the odds seem against you.
The film stars Romany Malco as the main character of the film who works as a popular DJ of a radio station who unfortunately finds himself unemployed and has to find a way to support his four children who are not used to the change for Christmas.
The film is written by Sean Dwyer & Greg Cope and directed by Leslie Small; it stars La La Anthony, Deon Cole, Tamala Jones, Roscoe Orman, Amarr M. Wooten, Malika Samuel, Alysia Livingston, and Deysha Nelson.
Sonequa Martin-Green and Darlene Love also star in the film and help Malco buy another radio station, and get their family to see all they needed for Christmas is family and love.
The film not only includes the importance of family, but also the romance between Malco and Green’s characters as they grow closer in the film to produce the radio station.
On Instagram, Malco posted a clip of the project, stating he was a little terrified while filming as the lead of the movie; however, he is very excited to share the trailer with fans.
