Lili Reinhart Opens up About Her Mental Health with Glamour UK
Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty in the very popular teen-mystery series, Riverdale, just gave fans a peek into her life during her Glamour UK interview.
Reinhart is this month’s cover star for the magazine and can be seen on three different versions of it.
The interview for her cover reveals a side of Reinhart that some may be surprised to see. Refreshingly honest, she discusses her mental health, career, and feelings about photoshop in an extensive interview.
“Depression has affected me in so many ways. Its something that never goes away,” she says in the interview, and it is a powerful statement to admit. Depression is such a prevalent issue amongst the core age-group that watches Reinhart on her show, Riverdale, but it is so often shied away from by celebrities. In the past, she admits to having had “crippling anxiety” that made even going to school difficult for her.
Despite her struggles, Reinhart has remained positive, saying that if she could talk to her younger self, she would say,”the struggles that you’re going through right now only makes your success so much more profound.”
