Nasty Cherry Releases New Electric EP ‘Season 1’ + Announces 2020 Tour Dates

Charli XCX’s girl band, Nasty Cherry, debuts their first EP, Season 1, highlighting the band’s first musical project and their incredible talent.

Nasty Cherry debuted their appearance to the world on their Netflix series, I’m with The Band: Nasty Cherry, showing them becoming a group and their musical process. Charli XCX founded the band and helped co-write songs from the group’s EP as well as sign them to her label, Vroom Vroom Recordings.

Nasty Cherry consists of Gabbriette Bechtel, the group’s lead vocalist; Chloe Chaidez on the guitar; Debbie Knox-Hewsom, who plays the drums; and Georgia Somary on the bass. The Season 1 project features melodic vocals, fantastic drum bass, and jamming guitar solos with parts in the album that highlights the group’s strengths. The band released the project on Nov. 22 and included 6 new and other previously released tracks.

Before the release of the EP, Nasty Cherry announced the news on Twitter and stated fans were going to love the album.


The new EP also has alternative and pop influences in songs like “Music With Your Dad,” “Brain Soup, “Win,” and “F***k Modern Love.” With the band’s versatility, they can provide listeners something different and make their sound more distinct and memorable through their unique sound.

The group not only released their EP but also announced tour dates in the US and UK. The world tour starts in February 2020 in Glasglow and then continues until the end of March, finishing up in San Francisco. On Twitter, Nasty Cherry released the dates for their tour and announced their excitement.
