Watch Summer Walker’s Television Performance on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show’

Summer Walker overcomes her performance anxiety and sings “Playing Games ” live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.  

Summer Walker has opened up about her struggles with social anxiety and nervousness while performing and being in front of a crowd. However, on Monday night, Walker faced her fears and performed her popular single, “Playing Games,” which samples Destiny Child’s “Say My Name” in the song’s chorus.

“Playing Games” is from her second studio album, Over It, which is currently certified gold. “Playing Games” is one of the many songs that Walker includes in the project that has a 2000’s R&B influence intertwined in the song, but with a modern twist.

During her Tonight Show performance, Walker started her production timidly, but once the band performed the melody and chorus of the track, she stood gracefully and performed effortlessly. Despite her nerves, Walker’s soulful vocals showcased in her television debut, along with her phenomenal backup singers and band.

With Walker’s ability to stand firm, face her fears, and perform an exceptional job on the Tonight Show, she is showing fans and viewers how to transcend and overcome their fears.
