Segerstrom Center for the Arts Hosts American Ballet Theatre: ‘The Nutcracker’
American Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker premieres tonight, December 13th, at Segerstrom Center for the arts to carry on its beloved holiday tradition.
The Segerstrom Center for the Arts has already given us so many wonderful performances this season and what better way to end the year than with Segerstrom x ABT. This year we can look forward to an array of leads for this mesmerizing ballet including, Hee Seo, Cory Stearns, Sarah Lane, Joo Won Ahn, Isabella Boylston, Aran Bell, Misty Copeland, Blaine Hoven, Christine Shevchenko, and Thomas Forster. This run is co-presented by the Center and ABT with choreography by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, and music by Pacific Symphony. The New York Times boasts that The Nutcracker is “A production like no other, made with complete theatrical authority from first to last.”
Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcraker is a ballet that you can enjoy year after year with friends and family.
