Listen to Harry Styles’ New Retro Pop-Rock Album ‘Fine Line’
Harry Styles releases his second studio album Fine Line after much anticipation about the new self-reflexive, innovative, and revealing project.
Harry Styles released a 70’s Rock Star influenced album that includes classic rock from the iconic period of stars like David Bowie and Elton John. The project consists of 12 new tracks in addition to his previously released singles “Lights Up,” “Watermelon Sugar,” and “Adore You.” Styles also gets personal and features emotional songs like “Cherry,” “Falling,” and “To Be So Lonely.”
In his song “Cherry,” he reveals his previous relationship with Camille Rowe by including a voicemail from her and through lyrics. Styles sings, “Don’t you call him ‘Baby,’ we’re not talking lately. Don’t you call him what you used to call me. ” and, “I just miss your accent and your friends.” He includes a voicemail from Rowe at the end of the track.
Styles announced Fine Line earlier in November and released “Lights Up,” “Watermelon Sugar,” and “Adore You” last Friday, December 6th, as lead singles. With the release of “Adore You,” Styles created Eroda, a fictional small island, and the tale of a fish and a character with a bright smile in a cinematic music video.
Since the release of the project, Fine Line trended on Twitter with the debut, and the #FineLineLive is currently trending with Styles The Forum concert that celebrates the release. On Twitter, fans are getting ready for the show in Los Angeles and making signs for Styles to see in the stadium.
