Horan first performed on Saturday Night Live about 6 years ago with One Direction, but this time he performed solo. He first hit the stage in a pink suit for the upbeat performance of “Nice to Meet Ya.” The song was released in early October of this year and is the lead single off his upcoming album.

The second song he performed was “Put a Little Love on Me.” The Flicker singer ditched the pink suit and electric guitar and replaced them with an all-black outfit, piano, and violin. With the emotional ballad, Horan certainly impressed the audience with his vocals.

Not only did the musician get to showcase his vocals, but he also displayed his humorous side. He appeared as one of three ghosts alongside Johansson and Cecily Strong who haunt a hot tub. Furthermore, the trio sang songs about how a hot tub accident lead to their deaths.

Both songs are from Niall Horan’s sophomore album, the name and release date are yet to be revealed. However, the artist has announced the Nice to Meet Ya Tour that starts in April 2020 in North America.
