Awkwafina Appeared on ‘Ellen’ After Winning Her First Golden Globe Award

Awkwafina made a guest appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show after thriving at the Golden Globes. 

While on the show she discussed her role in The Farewell and even crazy personal life stories about her cat that doesn’t even use a litter box and how her grandmother eats popcorn the traditional Asian way.

Even though she went solo to the Golden Globes, she was nominated and won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. She is now the first Asian American woman being nominated for the Oscars. The star was not always well known even describing herself as an awkward teenager, inspiring her to change her name at fifteen from Nora to Awkwafina.

She has become an inspiring woman with much success to come in her career.
