Join in on the Fun With Dua Lipa as She ‘Speaks the Lyrics’ on Ellen
If you’re looking for a bit of warmth and laughter to heat up this cold, frosty season, then “The Ellen Show” is the place to go.
In this episode, Ellen brings us a special edition of “Speak the Lyrics.” This time, instead of consisting solely of one of Ellen’s writers, Lauren Pomerantz, she brings on board none other than Dua Lipa herself to join in on the fun (while undercover of course). This segment of the show took place in a World Market showcasing the singer and the writer speaking to complete strangers, while also using only the lyrics to Dua Lipa’s songs.
Both women spoke the lyrics of the songs, “Don’t Start Now,” “One Kiss,” and “New Rules.” Everything about it was funny and awkward, but that only made it so much better, and by the laughs of the studio audience, you could tell they thought so as well. However, despite the awkwardness with great confidence, the two pushed through and completed the challenge nonetheless. Check out the fun clip below.
Though this feature is said to be special edition, we hope to see much more of this in the near future.
