Sophie Turner Says She Will Not Appear in the ‘Game of Thrones’ Spin-Off
Sophie Turner has ruled out a return to the world of Westeros.
Turner maintained that a future appearance from the character of Sansa Stark is out of the question – with a caveat. She was asked about the likelihood of an appearance in HBO’s upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon, at the SAG Awards on Sunday.
“I would give anything to go back to what we had, but it wouldn’t be the same,” Turner told Variety at the SAG Awards. “It would be different, different people running it. I don’t want to be a part of it. Unless they give me the big bucks I’m not doing it!”
The actress clearly has fond memories of her time on the show, and recalled a moment during filming of the final season that left her both inspired and saddened on the set.
“The day that I really appreciated everything was the very last day on set, and it was the saddest day as well,” she said ” I walked onto the set of Winterfell in my costume for the last time. And I was looking around and I just welled up. I was like ‘This is amazing how empowered I feel to be on this set.’ That was the day I really appreciated but it was also the day that I broke down and didn’t get out of bed for the next three days. Everyone cried. And everyone cried when other people wrapped as well. The whole season everyone was just blubbing.”
As House of the Dragon is slated to take place 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones it’s unlikely that Turner will be recruited for a guest spot on the show. However, if you can’t get enough of the blonde bombshell, there’s good news to be had, as the star kept herself quite visible in the public eye since the conclusion of the show. Fans swooned at her SAG red carpet arrival with husband Joe Jonas, as she stunned everyone in a hot pink Louis Vuitton number.

Speaking of the Jonas Brothers, check out her second music video appearance with the group in their new video for “What A Man Gotta Do.” She and Joe are the perfect pair as they emulate Danny and Sandy from Grease.
