See What NikkieTutorials Said in First Video Since Coming Out
Nikkie de Jager, better known as NikkieTutorials on YouTube, came out as transgender a few weeks ago and finally posted her first video since then.
NikkieTutorial uploaded a video titled “I’m Coming Out” on January 13. She revealed that she had been blackmailed and decided to come out on her own instead of someone else outing her. Nikkie shared with her fans that she is a transgender woman, and proud of it.
The YouTuber has been silent until recently with her new video “Responding to My Coming Out.” She sits down to do her makeup and tell her story, which is what she likes to call her “makeup therapy.” Nikkie says in the video, “I didn’t know what to post after that. But there’s one thing that has always helped me, even through my darkest times, and that is makeup.” She decided to do her makeup in the colors of the transgender flag.
She admits she was afraid at first about the responses she would receive, but soon realized they were almost all positive. Nikkie shared that she was even given the chance to be on The Ellen Show to share her story.

One thing Nikkie really emphasized in her new video was to stop looking for her blackmailer. She has found the person of interest, and they are both a stranger to her and her fans. Nikkie believes it is her right on whether or not the name is shared, and she does not want any more attention to be put on that person.
