L’Oréal is making a positive impact on the environment.

In 2016, the company issued a statement that L’Oréal wanted to improve its products through better biodegradability, making its products capable of being decomposed by bacteria. This will decrease the need for the biological decomposition of the products, which is one of the main causes of pollution and bacteria in the environment.

L’Oréal also plans to move towards using renewable and raw materials. The packaging itself is set to improve with recyclable and sustainable plastic, and the formula will be almost 100 percent biodegradable.
