Check out Rihanna as She Is Set to Receive the NAACP President’s Award
This Tuesday, the NAACP announced through social media that Rihanna would be the recipient of the President’s Award for the 51st Annual NAACP Image Awards, taking place later this month.
The award will be presented to her by none other than the NAACP President himself, Derrick Johnson.

This award in particular is said to be one of the highest honors, so this is a ginormous deal in the NAACP universe.
It’s no surprise the singer was chosen this award. She not only does outstanding work for charities, but she is consistently philanthropic as well. She is always looking out for others and is especially inclusive when it comes to her clothing, make up, and lingerie brands (there is always something for everyone). Let’s also not fail to mention her outstandingly progressive mindset.
All in all, the recipient of this years NAACP President’s award is very much deserving, and we honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Who better than someone as thoughtful, kind and innovative as Rihanna?
