Kacey Musgraves partnered with Boy Smells to create a candle scent that brings her song, “Slow Burn,” to life. “Burn in a hurry, always late.” Musgraves even created a fun word to coincide with her concoction, “scentiment,” and says the scent embodies all the qualities of her song: a little dank, crisp and androgenous, floaty, earthy, and grounded.

Burn in a hurry. . . . . . I brought my song slow burn to life in the form of a smell. The scentiment is exactly what the song sounds like. It’s a little dank. A little crisp. Androgynous. Floaty. Earthy. Grounded. It’s the smell of a fire faintly drifting on the breeze as you walk to your favorite bar down the street and cherish slow sips of your favorite wine. Briefly thinking about strangers on the other side of the globe in Beijing rushing into work but you’re right here, admiring the fading colors of the disappearing sunset and enjoying exactly where you are in all senses. . . . . . This was really a fun creative challenge for me and I’m a big fan of @boy__smells – a queer brand with Texas roots. Hope you love what we created. Link in bio.

The more scented smells can be described as incense, black pepper, elemi, raspberry, guaiac, amber, and smoked papyrus. The candle consists of a beeswax and coconut blend with a burn time of fifty hours. We need to smell this candle because it sounds amazing.

You can get your hands on this candle and other Boy Smell products on their website here.
