Get Ready for Janet Jackson’s New Album and Tour
The singer surprised fans when she announced she will be performing her new album on the tour.
Janet Jackson is going on an arena tour this summer. If that wasn’t exciting enough news, she is also releasing a new album which she will be performing on tour. Jackson talked about the new album Black Diamond on Jimmy Fallon. She shared that the inspiration behind the name is that black diamonds are the hardest to cut, and that represents how strong of a woman she has become.

This album is a follow up to her 2015 album Unbreakable. The album does not have a release date yet but it can be expected before the Black Diamond Tour starts. Jackson reissued her album Rhythm Nation 1814 last year to celebrate its 30th anniversary, and she announced that she will also be performing songs from that album on this tour.
The Black Diamond World Tour is starting in North America in Miami, Florida on June 28th. The last day of this leg of the tour will be August 23rd in Tacoma, Washington. Jackson said that European dates will be announced soon. Tickets go on sale on February 13th.
Keep up with Janet Jackson and get excited to hear her new album.
