Singer-Songwriter Ben Wylen Releases Debut Single ‘People Say’

Tom Oxley

Give a warm welcome to newcomer, singer-songwriter Ben Wylen as he releases the first single from his new album, “People Say.”

People Say is a 12 track record that defies the “rules other think people have to live by.” Wylen attributes his inspiration to Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan as well as Coldplay, Hozier, and Lady Gaga. Grammy award winning mixing engineer, Steve Fitzmaurice, contributed to the success of the album.

To make things even more exciting, Wylen will release each song on the album on the first Friday of the month until the drop of the full People Say album on Nov. 6, 2020.

The “People Say” track recently released. Check it out below.

Have no fear, the talented artist released an acoustic version of the track.

The new artist gives us a look into the rest of the album when saying, “Most of my family and friends work jobs they don’t enjoy. They kill themselves day in and day out and they never give themselves a chance to find out who they really are and who they want to be. “People Say” is about the struggle of self-discovery. We don’t have much time on this earth, so we ought to make the most of the time we do have. There is more to life, then working all the time.”

Don’t want to wait until the fall for more? Don’t worry, Ben will also be making his debut live performance in March at SXSW.
