Little Fires Everywhere was originally a novel in 2019, written but Celeste Ng. The story is set in the 90’s in Ohio suburbia. The author felt that the themes in her book can be seen heavily in that part of Ohio. The book is meant to showcase that outside of the optimism of the world being together, the issues taking place in smaller communities were still prevalent.
