Check out Disney’s First Ever LGBTQ Character
Disney Pixar announced their first LGBTQ animated character in their upcoming movie, Onward.
This will be a milestone for Disney because it’s something the company has never done before. The character’s name is Officer Specter. In the animated film, Officer Specter is portrayed to be a cyclops. The character is voiced by actress and screenwriter Lena Waithe.

Disney Pixar’s newest animated film is set to release on March 6th. The film also stars Tom Holland and Chris Pratt. They both voice the two main characters in the film. The film follows two brothers who lost their father at a young age and are left behind with only a present by him. The story unfolds when they realize what their father left behind wasn’t beneficial to their family. Although Officer Specter is a supporting character, she will be the first-ever openly LGBTQ Character and that’s a huge stride for Disney.
