Desperate times call for not so desperate measures as John Legend plans to bless us with an Instagram live performance.

To put a little light on the mood we are all feeling at this time, John Legend is partnering with the World Health Organization and Global Citizen to keep us some company during this self-quarantine.

You can tune into his Instagram live at 1 p.m. Pacific time/4 p.m. Eastern time for a mini-concert. Legend is not the first one to hop on this trend, Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, took it to Instagram live yesterday for the first virtual concert.

Global Citizen is a movement of engaged citizens who are using their collective voice to end extreme poverty by 2030.  #TogetherAtHome, is the hashtag Global Citizen has been using to keep us all together during this difficult time.

The goal of this is to provide a virtual no-contact concert that aims to promote social distancing and taking action for global health to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

We are hoping other artists start to hop on this virtual concert wave so we can all rock out together, but isolated to keep us all healthy and happy.
