How to Celebrate the First Days of Spring Social Distance Style

Happy spring equinox, let’s see how we can celebrate.

Although it may not feel like it, today marks the first day of the spring season. Despite the many restrictions that life may have right now, there are many ways to welcome this new season with open arms.

First of all, who doesn’t love spring: the sparse rain showers, flowers blooming and finally a glimpse at warmer weather. Pisces season is coming to an end and it’s time for Aries season with Taurus season just around the corner. Today is a great day to still practice self-isolation, but that does not mean you cannot go outside for a breath of fresh air.

You can go outside for a very much needed long walk, a bike ride, sunbathe in the backyard, or if you’re feeling super active, go on a jog. During this isolation period, it is important to take time out of your day to get some fresh air and go outside. Whatever you chose to do in celebration of the spring season, make sure you are still practicing healthy social distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Another fun suggestion to pass time during social distancing is to paint. Use this opportunity to paint pretty flowery landscapes and flowers in celebration of the springtime rolling in. More importantly, paint what you want and use this time to do whatever you want. Meditate, self-care and remember to take care of yourself during these confusing times.

In the end, April showers do bring May flowers.
