Be Sure to Watch Little Mix’ New Show ‘The Search’
Little mix announced that they are currently in the middle of auditions for their new star search show Little Mix: The Search.
The new series will be made up of seven 80-minute episodes, and will follow the band members. The show will showcase Little Mix putting singers into new groups which will be a variety of all-female, all-male, and mixed bands, where the winning group will join Little Mix on their upcoming 2020 summer UK tour.
A twist on the average musical show, the singers who make it past auditions and into new bands will live together. Little Mix will become their personal mentors and the talent hopefuls will gain access to vocal coaches, song writers, producers and stylists.
Little Mix announced that they had found their The Search presenter, comedian Chris Ramsey, and expressed their excitement via their group Instagram, “Beyond excited to announce Chis Ramsey as the host of Little Mix: The Search”. Right after the band’s announcement, Chris added to his Instagram, “So I can finally tell you all that I’m going to be the host of Little Mix: The Search.”
As of now, there isn’t a confirmed launch date; however, the show will certainly air in 2020. According to Little Mix, The Search will be on BBC iPlayer and BBC One on Saturday nights.
Unfortunately, the BBC One website states applications for music hopefuls closed on January 10, 2020, but who’s to say this will be the final opportunity provided by Little Mix? Only time will tell.
