Sing Along With Your Favorite Artists on ‘The Late Late Show’

CBS Broadcasting, Inc.

James Cordon hosted a special episode to share music and bring everyone together.

Many late-night hosts are doing either home broadcastings or playing reruns during social distancing. James Cordon, the host of The Late Late Show, decided to have Homefest: A Late Late Show Special. Cordon had a number of guests on his show such as Billie Eilish, BTS, the Cast of Evan Hansen, and more. The special also raised money and awareness for CDC Foundation and Feed the Children.

During the show, Cordon wanted to stress again the importance of washing your hands. He then had Will Ferrell show us how it’s done. The actor wanted to suggest songs other than Happy Birthday to sing while you are washing your hands. His suggestions included “Chandelier” by Sia, “Diamond” by Rihanna, and Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”

After a show of amazing performances, Cordon got emotional during his sign-off. He shared his own anxieties and sadness amid the pandemic. He then shared that he thought the best way to end his show would be to have the Dear Evan Hansen cast perform “You Will Be Found.” Cordon then welcomes the original Evan Hansen, Ben Platt, and the members of the current Broadway and national touring companies of the musical including Jordan Fisher.

Watch the amazing special Cordon put together and see some of your favorite artists perform.
