Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, Dua Lipa, made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon performing “Break My Heart” from her newest album Future Nostalgia.

Dua Lipa’s performance of “Break My Heart” proved to be a fun and energetic video to record as viewers witnessed the fun filters and background images of the singer’s virtual performance.

Virtual dancers and her team of musicians emerged in the background as the singer sang and danced to the lyrics of her song.

The British singer’s original plan to release the album was April 3rd; however, when songs from the album were leaked, this forced the singer’s hand for an earlier planned album release last month. During the interview segment of the show, the singer mentioned how she went from feeling conflicted about the early release to feeling like it was a perfect time and that it happened for a reason especially during the pandemic.

She wasn’t sure if this was the right time to release the album since the world is currently suffering. “I thought about the fact that I made this album to get away from anxiety and depression, and I think it maybe this record could give people a moment to get away from everything and give them some comfort,” Lipa shares with Jimmy. Fallon chimed in agreeance saying “We need it now, and nothing is better than great music”.
