On Wednesday the 8th, rapper/singer, Future took to Twitter to announce the release of his and DJ Esco’s mixtape, titled 56 Nights to finally become available on all listening services. Although the mixtape was originally dropped on March 21 in 2015, it wasn’t available everywhere.

The mixtape was inspired by an experience the producer (DJ Esco) went through. In 2014, Esco was sentenced to 56 days in jail in Dubai, which was where he was originally set to perform with Future at the Abu Dhabi Grand. He had an unfortunate run-in with Dubai airport security, resulting in being faced with charges of marijuana possession and doing time at the local prison.
He used what he learned during his time as inspiration for the mixtapes; “I’m the only person in the world from this side of the hemisphere where no one can help me but me,” he said in an interview.
