‘Club MTV’ Will Return for One Night Only With DJ D-Nice

MTV

After nearly 30 years, Club MTV will return for a one time musical experience featuring DJ Derrick “D-Nice” Jones.

In times like these, it’s best to focus on the positivity in the world, like how many musical artists are doing their part to contribute as much optimism as possible to those struggling during this pandemic. The special, live music event will air Saturday, April 25th and it will not be something you want to miss.

The event, #DanceTogether, has been coordinated to raise funds for “The Save The Music Foundation,” which is an organization which seeks to improve the lives of students in “underdeserved communities” by incorporating more music programs into schools. The special will air on MTV and simulcast across both VH1 and MTV2.

The non-profit, music education focused, is working hard to ensure remote music education for students around the country despite struggles of the pandemic.

DJ, Derrick “D-Nice” Jones, will host the event from his home in Downtown, L.A. but hopes to reach homes all over the world.

In terms of music, D-Nice plans to “spin an eclectic mix of classic jams and today’s hottest hits during the interactive party, while also engaging with A-list friends, viral social media dancers and fans through on-screen pop-ins and dance challenges. Viewers can join the conversation from the comfort of their homes by commenting and posting online with the hashtag #DanceTogether.”
