Usher, Lil Jon, and Ludacris Reunite for New Song

Kurt Iswarienko/RCA Records

Musical artist sensations Usher, Ludacris, and Lil Jon reunite to release their new single and upcoming “Lovers and Friends” festival event.

It’s been a long 16 years since Usher, Ludacris, and Lil Jon released a hot track for listeners and fans to jam out to. The same trio that released the 2004 hits “Yeah!” and “Lovers and Friends” linked up for their new single “SexBeat.”

“SexBeat” was written by Jermaine Dupri and produced by rapper Lil Jon.

The song certainly gives off a smooth vibe, easily taking you back to their 2004 “Lovers and Friends” era.

Listen to the entire song below.

According to Complex, “Jon explained he and the two artists created the record two years ago, but it remained in the vault because Usher had some hesitation.”

“Y’all don’t know how many conversations I’ve had about this record,” Jon said to Complex during the stream.

Before COVID-19 disrupted all musical, entertainment, and public events, Usher, Lil Jon, and Ludacris were all booked for their Los Angeles’ Lovers and Friends multiple show festival. Therefore, because of the pandemic, the trio were forced to reschedule their event to a now 1-day event on Saturday, August 8th.

You can stream “SexBeat” now on all major platforms or have it on replay via YouTube.
