Keep an Eye out for the YouTube Graduation Event Hosted by Barack and Michelle Obama
Be on the lookout for the Class of 2020 Youtube commencement celebration hosted by Barack and Michelle Obama.
In light of the coronavirus cancelling graduation ceremonies for high school and college seniors, over the past few weeks, celebrities have been taking it upon themselves to send their congratulations to students across the nation–and now, the Obamas are joining in.

The live-stream event is set to premiere June 6th, on YouTube. Both former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama will each deliver a commencement speeches to this year’s graduates.
Additional commencement speakers will include Lady Gaga, former Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates, Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Malala Yousafzai, and BTS, who will also be performing alongside other artists at the after party.
BTS had previously given a truly inspiring speech about self-love at the United Nations back in September 2018, so fans are eagerly anticipating what their parting words to the Class of 2020 will be.

But the star-studded list doesn’t stop there. The event will also include appearances from Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Kerry Washington, Chloe x Halle, Zendaya and YouTube creators Jackie Aina, AsapSCIENCE, Dude Perfect, Mr. Kate and The Try Guys.
