Lady Gaga’s sixth album, ‘Chromatica,’ is coming on May 29, featuring collaborations with Elton John and Ariana Grande.

Awaited by hundreds of thousands of supporters, many were disappointed that the original date, April 10, was no longer the release date due to COVID-19.

So far, Gaga has only released one track, ‘Stupid Love,’ from her new album.

We still do not know whether The Chromatic Ball tour will take place, originally scheduled to start in Paris, France on July 24, 2020. Other planned cities include London, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, and East Rutherford.

On Wednesday, May 6, Gaga confirmed that the new album is coming out on May 29, which will mark her return to pop after focusing on jazz, folk-rock, and the production of the Oscar-nominated album, A Star is Born.

In Gaga’s interview with Zane Lowe back in February about the new album, which you can watch below, she describes ‘Chromatica’ as “dancing through pain.” Gaga wants to create “music that a big chunk of the world will hear” and she says that while being vulnerable is scary, love conquers it all.

For Gaga, it was a very emotional album. While producing it, she quit smoking and was crying and writing poetry constantly.

She says, “I put all my heart, all my pain, all my messages from the other realm that I hear of and what they tell me to tell the world, and I put it into music that I believe to be so fun and energetically really pure. I want people to dance and feel happy.”

Lady Gaga’s ‘Chromatica’ sounds like it could be her most emotional and powerful album, yet. Mark your calendars for May 29 to be one of the first to hear it.
