‘The Late Late Show’ Hosted a Pet Gala, You Have to Check It Out
The Late Late Show hosted Pet Gala to replace the cancelled Met Gala.
James Corden knew exactly how to lift everyone’s spirits by hosting the Pet Gala. The show featured videos shared by pet owners of their dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards, and more. This segment came with a twist though, as Corden asked the owners to dress up their pet in what would have been this year’s Met Gala theme, About Time: Fashion and Duration.

Corden and special guest Stylist and fashion commentator, Brad Goreski, took this very seriously. The two watched as the animals strutted their stuff down their own red carpet, and the duo shared their critiques for each outfit as if it were the real Met Gala. Of course, every pet looked fabulous in their high-end outfits from exquisite gowns to sleek suits.
As Anna Wintour once said: “You either know fashion or you don’t”

This year’s Met Gala was going to be co-chaired by Nicolas Ghesquière of Louis Vuitton, Lin-Manuel Mirnada, Emma Stone, Meryl Streep, and Anna Wintour. Since the event had to be cancelled, Vogue decided to honor the Met Gala and this year’s theme by hosting a virtual event looking back at the fashion of past Met Gala’s.
