Tony, Grammy, and Emmy-winning artist Ben Platt has done it again. His new single, “So Will I”, which dropped on May 8th, is produced by FINNEAS, and co-written by Michael Pollack. The song is beautiful and authentic, following the release of Platt’s hugely successful debut album, Sing to Me Instead, a poignant reflection on love and heartbreak. “So Will I” will be featured on the deluxe version of this album.
Platt first wrote “So Will I” with Pollack at the start of quarantine, communicating over zoom. Many listeners will undoubtedly relate to the lyrics, as the song is all about providing comfort in uncertain times. “So Will I”, feels like a warm hug, and is sure to touch the hearts of all of Platt’s fans.
