Discover How Hailey Bieber, Lil Nas, Doja Cat, Katy Perry, and More Participated in the Global ‘SHEIN Together’ Fund for COVID-19
Over the weekend, fashion retailer SHEIN hosted its very first global live stream event “SHEIN Together” to raise money for coronavirus relief efforts.
Celebrities like Lil Nas, Katy Perry, and Doja Cat, performed mini-concerts from their homes for fans and viewers throughout the benefit event. Hailey Beiber, Storm Reid, Yara Shahidi, and Tyler Cameron also made special appearances during the event amongst other noted stars. The star-studded event was in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Foundation to support COVID-19 relief efforts. SHEIN captioned on their Instagram, “We are hosting a streaming event to promote awareness & are donating $100,000 to the fund which supports global efforts to prevent, detect and respond to the pandemic”.
In just 7 days, SHEIN was able to donate $35,000 in proceeds from their “SHEIN Together” tees. The retailer announced that they will continue to donate 10% of its tee sales to the pandemic fund. The “SHEIN Together” campaign is scheduled to continue its live stream series on May 15th in Italy and Germany. Guests will be able to tune into the event via the SHEIN Italy and SHEIN German apps.
