Watch Your Favorite RuPaul’s Drag Race Veterans Perform at the ‘Rainbowthon’ Hosted by Frankie Grande
Tune in for performances by your favorite drag queens as they take the ‘Rainbowthon’ stage.
Veterans of RuPaul’s Drag Race Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews, and Carson Kressley are revving up to perform at the Rainbowthon, a charity event set up to help the Los Angeles LGBT Center raise money.
The two-hour event was held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. PT/9-11 p.m. ET and was hosted by Ariana Grande’s brother, Frankie Grande.
Other stars set to participate in the colorful event include Kristin Chenoweth, Jewel, Margaret Cho, Leslie Jordan, Deborah Cox, Taylor Dayne, Betty Who, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Courtney Reed, Shoshana Bean, Susan Egan, Laura Osnes, Emma Hunton, DJ “Shangela” Pierce, and YouTube personalities Colleen Ballinger (Miranda Sings), Gigi Gorgeous, and GloZell Green.
The Los Angeles LGBT Center is a hub for the gay community in the city, serving everyone from homeless youth to seniors. It also provides primary care to those living with HIV, a population particularly vulnerable during this pandemic.
Rainbowthon will be available to stream on the center’s Facebook and YouTube channels. All proceeds will be put toward its CARE Fund, established in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Grande stated that at Rainbowthon, viewers can “expect to smile, laugh and have a good time while also highlighting the incredible work the Center has done for the community during these crazy times.”
And it looks like the host and participants are not the only ones excited about the event. Fans of the stars and supporters of the community have been doing their part to spread awareness of the event by directing people to the livestream:
