Experience Taylor Swift’s ‘City of Lover’ Concert on ABC
Hold onto your seats Swifties, your favorite megastar is hitting Paris.
The coronavirus may have rained down on her 2020 tour, forcing cancellation, but TSwift’s tweet has a rebuttal. Following the season finale of the hit show American Idol, a one-hour concert special will air May 17, 2o2o on ABC. The performance was filmed last September at Paris’ Olympia Theater.
Swift tweets “I’m so sad I won’t be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision,” and “Please, please stay healthy and safe. I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what’s important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us.”

ABC posted via Instagram a clip of Swift playing guitar and singing into a bubble gum pink microphone sporting her trademark red lip.
The pop star’s eye shadow glitters along with the font across her guitar that reads “Lover,” the name of her feisty and passionate album that dropped last fall.
