In an effort to raise money for PIH, Waititi, along with the Roald Dahl Story Company, is headlining a ten-part charity series wherein he reads Dahl’s classic and timeless children’s book, James and the Giant Peach. PIH aims to provide vulnerable communities across the globe with medical treatment, especially those most susceptible to COVID-19. The organization’s ultimate goal is to purchase 100,000 rapid and contact COVID-19 tests, sending them to the vulnerable areas across the globe. Each test costs $5, meaning a donation of $20 can provide four tests to people in need. You can learn more about Partners In Health here. The Roald Dahl Story Company has pledged to match up to a million dollars donated to the organization.
